GIPED will task institution leaders to accept a share of responsibility for the graduate unemployment challenge. If students spend at least four years in a tertiary institution and end up driving uber, then that is what they were trained to do. The entrepreneurial intent of a discipline needs to be elucidated better.

GIPED will make graduates see themselves as assets. They will be equipped as they leave the university with a plan (business plan) detailing how they will convert their education into meaningful value.

Our curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to identify and seize opportunities, create innovative solutions, and launch successful ventures.

I.C.S.S

ICSS is a program that aims to instill the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship in learners. It consists of four modules, namely Inspire, Create, Solve, and Scale, designed to equip students with the necessary skills to create innovative solutions and scale them into successful businesses.

The Entrepreneurial Intent

Entrepreneurial intent refers to identifying the potential business opportunities and innovative solutions within a particular field of study. For instance, microbiology, history, psychology, geology, and mechanical engineering could have untapped entrepreneurial potential. If a lecturer attends the entrepreneurial intent session for a particular course, they will be required to incorporate entrepreneurial elements into that course's curriculum.

The Sustainable Development Goals Challenges & Opportunities

This program explores the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance to various academic disciplines such as history, engineering, and medicine. It examines how each discipline can contribute to addressing the SDGs and the challenges and opportunities presented by these goals.

Strategic Foresight: Emerging Trends

Strategic foresight involves the use of tools and methods to anticipate and prepare for potential future scenarios in a particular field or discipline. It involves analyzing trends, identifying emerging issues and opportunities, and developing strategies to address them.

Disruptive Innovation

GIPED fosters disruptive innovation by unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of every academic field. It challenges students to apply their knowledge creatively to solve real-world problems, beyond traditional boundaries. Chemical engineers, for instance, can develop more sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective products to disrupt the business space.

Country Analysis

Country analysis provides students with specific insights about their country's geopolitical situation, economic growth drivers, and other relevant information to identify entrepreneurial opportunities. This information is crucial in developing an entrepreneurial mindset and determining how a student can contribute to their country's development.
